Description

Gulls Cry is situated in an elevated position with panoramic views that sweep across the nine miles of Start Bay and offer an amazing vantage point to South Devon's beautiful coastline. This enchanting chalet, situated with only a handful of others, is ideal for a small family or a couple and offers many home comforts for your stay, including the living room/dining room that provides you with fantastic sea views, kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bathroom, all with a nautical theme. This property also offers the use of a small on-site launderette. Outside, there is a patio area with table and chairs for your family to sit and enjoy. Stoke Fleming is a thriving village with a rustic bistro, Radius 7, selling locally sourced food, a post office, general store and pub. You can walk to Blackpool sands, a blue flag award winning beach, with its Mediterranean feel or continue along the South West Coastal path to take in the full aroma of the the evergreens and scented pines. Stoke Fleming is also a fabulous base in which to discover the area and is on a regular bus route that takes you on the breathtaking coastal route directly into Dartmouth or through to the estuary town of Kingsbridge.

Changeover Day: Friday Arrival 16:00 - Departure 11:00am

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Electric heaters, electricity provided in price.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided.

Notes: No children under 5, No Pets,  No Smoking. Free unlimited WiFi included. Short Breaks accepted. Mobile phone signal is patchy. The communal laundry area uses £1 coins, 50 and 20 pence coins to operate. 

WARNING: Please be careful of the steps to the front and back of the property as some are unguarded.

Short Breaks: Short breaks accepted except main summer weeks, minimum of 3 nights.

Amazing views and comfortable, quiet property in easy reach of so many places. Really enjoyed our stay and had probably one of the best holidays we have ever had in the UK. Stoke Fleming is such a lovely little village. If I was going to make a few observations a slightly bigger TV would have been nice. The shower does not have the best water pressure but appreciate that may be due to the immersion heater set up in the property or possibly there is simply just not the pressure available owing to the property's location. Full size ironing board would have been useful.
