Perfectly poised between the soft sandy shores of South Sands Beach and the historic National Trust site Overbeck’s, every angle offers enchanting views over this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and out towards the Salcombe Estuary.

Just a stone’s throw from the property itself, South Sands and the surrounding valley offer picturesque countryside walks, a soft sandy beach perfect for creating special family memories, and the opportunity to try something new, with hire facilities for Paddle Boarding including an instructor to take you around some of the best sights of Salcombe. Combining a truly relaxing environment where you can watch the world go by from the comfort of your armchair and gazing out of the floor to ceiling windows, together with a coastal stroll or short drive to the charming town centre, where you can explore the winding streets scattered with a wide selection of local eateries, quirky shops and of course a host of places to buy a souvenir of your favourite holiday yet. For those looking to venture beyond the sunny Salcombe shores, the equally lovely market town of Totnes or the historic Dartmouth are within a short drive, as well as the excitement of the city at Plymouth, meaning that you’ll never be short of places to go and things to do.

A spacious and peaceful haven, Lazylands is set over three floors. Ascending the driveway and trying not to be taken away with the view, the first floor houses the double aspect master bedroom complete with built in storage and a large en-suite with Jack and Jill hand basins and bathtub with shower overhead. On this floor you’ll also find two further bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and cosy duvets, as well as a modern family bathroom. Ascending the first flight of stairs will lead you to a  further two bedrooms, as well as a second family bathroom, and on the third and final floor there is a snug with large TV, modern kitchen with separate dining room, and the most enchanting views from the lounge and balcony – you’ll never want to leave!


First Floor

Bedroom 2 Beach views from the windows, king size (5') bed, freestanding chair, two bedside cabinets, alarm clock, two wall mounted bedside lights, two built in wardrobes, dressing table with chair, wall mounted mirror and overhead mirror light. 

Bedroom 3 Beach views, two sets of bunk beds including three singles (3') and one double (4'6"), built in wardrobe, large bean bag, wall lights and one fold out wall mounted bedside light. 

Family Bathroom Large hand basin, w.c., wall mounted heated towel rail, bath with pull out thermostatic shower head. 


Second Floor

Third Floor 

Family/Snug Room This room has access to the outside seating area, inside there is a 62" Flat Screen Bush Smart TV, Sony Blu-Ray 3D DVD player, two-seater leather sofa, two large bean bags, board games, Yamaha USB/IPod Dock/Radio/CD Player. 

Kitchen Table with four chairs, two fridges and two freezers, four slot Breville Toaster, Silver Crest microwave, Hotpoint dishwasher, Bosch eight ring induction hob, overhead fan, two built in Bosch cookers, Hotpoint washing machine, Beko tumble dryer, Magimix Coffee Machine (Guests to bring their own pods). Access to outside seating space. 

Dining Room Ten seater dining room table and chairs with rear garden views. Seating for a further four and a quirky feature, the children can have their own top table located in the kitchen.

Living Room Spectacular Beach views, 56" Samsung Flat Screen TV, two large two-seater leather sofas, one freestanding leather chair, glass coffee table, open fire (Guests to bring their own wood), two leather relax chairs with footstools, two freestanding lamps.  


Garden Front and rear gardens and patio outside seating area are not enclosed and on multiple levels. Rattan garden furniture is provided, barbeque is provided. Please be aware there are multiple steps and staircases externally and internally at Lazylands, if you do have children please take care at all times, bringing children is at your own risk. 

Parking Parking available on the driveway up to 10 cars. Garage is unavailable for guest use. 

Changeover Day: Saturday - Arrival 4:00pm (16:00)  - Departure 10:00am

Security Deposit: £500 Refundable 

Power and Heat: Gas and Electricity included in rent. Gas central heating, Gas central heated towel rails. 

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). 

Baby Equipment: 2 Travel Cots can be found in the master bedroom wardrobe, Please bring your own bedding for the travel cots. Highchairs are provided. Stair gates do not fit the internal staircases. 

Shop: 1.5ml Salcombe Town Centre  Pub: 0.6ml The Winking Prawn North Sands

Notes - Please be aware there are multiple steps and staircases externally and internally at Lazylands, if you do have children please take care at all times, bringing children is at your own risk. Stair Gates are not provided and do not fit the property internal staircases. Please be aware this property does not accept pets however, is it not a pet-free property the owner does have a cat that has a holiday at South Sands too! No Smoking. No Pets. WiFi Provided.
